From 2011-14 I teamed up with a good friend James Boore (aka Made by Pete) to produce regular dance music podcast with his then partner on the decks, Dave Minns.
Around this time we started to wind down BBM print mag in Australia and had started the transition to digital mediums. We started exploring digital radio and found that it was a great way to support promo for artists who were going to be touring Australia as we could interview the artists ahead of all other press down under.
The series ran on for around a year, it was a super exciting period for us all as the So Called Scumbags were starting to get recognition and Dave Minns began hosting the Meat Transmission Radio show at their Meat Liquor Hoxton restaurant. At this point, our show was integrated into Dave’s show at Meat Transmission and soon after this, So Called Scumbags called it a day and Made by Pete was born with James playing his first gig at Ministry of Sound in London shortly after.
